Info and Policies

Communication:
All emails are responded to as soon as possible, generally within 12 hours. I do not take phone orders. All orders must be received through the website and paid through paypal.

Construction:
Collars are constructed with nylon webbing *if* the collar is unlined. The nylon webbing used is smooth and soft and is fine for pups with even the most sensitive of necks. If the webbing core is completely covered with fabric or topped with ribbon & lined with fleece or satin, polypropylene webbing is used. This kind of webbing is lighter and less bulky when fabric covered, but it still is strong enough to hold even the strongest hound. Since most of the wear on a martingale occurs on the control loop, any exposed(unlined)control loops are made with nylon webbing, as nylon has a slightly higher resistance to abrasion than the polypropylene. All hardware is either cast or welded nickel or solid brass.
Sweaters and snoods are hand-knit with acrylic yarns. All items come from smoke-free homes, but you may receive a stray greyhound hair :)

Care and cleaning:
Collars and sweaters can be hand or machine washed (including those with crystals) in cold water on gentle or delicate cycle in a lingerie bag or pillowcase. No bleach or harsh detergent. Do not spin, twist or wring. Re-shape and lay flat and air-dry only! Do. Not. Put. Collars. Sweaters. Or. Snoods. In. The. Dryer.
Collar Sizing:
Using a soft tape measure (or use a string and then measure it with a ruler), measure three points:
A) circumference of the dog's head/face in front of the ears
B) circumference of the dog's head/ face in back of the ears
C) around the neck (where the collar will sit).

This collar slips on over the dog's head so you should allow at least 2 inches larger than the biggest head measurement.
*If the largest measurement of your dog's head is no larger than 13" and the neck is 11-15", you would need a size SM.
*If the largest measurement of your dog's head is no larger than 16" and the neck is 14-18", you would need a size MD.
*If the largest measurement of your dog's head is no larger than 19" and the neck is 17-21", you would need a size LG.
Proper Collar Adjustment:
Collars: Slip the collar over your dog's head and slide it up to the narrowest part of the neck (just behind the ears). Pull up on the D-ring. The two metal slides should remain approximately 2 inches apart as they come together. If they touch, the collar is too loose. Be sure to fit and adjust your collar properly and inspect often to look for frayed material or loose threads!

Sweater Sizing:
The website listings of ready-to-wear sweaters will have measurements shown for hounds that the sweaters are intended to fit. Please do not purchase a sweater listed to fit a 28-30" chest if your hound's chest measures 32". Sweaters are not intended to stretch outside the given measurements. It is your responsibility to make sure your hound's measurements fit within the given size limits. Please do not hesitate to email me if you need help with sizing!

Returns/Exchanges:
NOTE: I do not make collars for italian greyhounds/ iggys. Greyhounds take my size Medium and Whippets take my size Small. PLEASE measure your dog carefully and contact me with any questions. I do not accept exchanges or returns. Colors on screens may appear slightly different than actual fabric due to variations in computer and phone color displays.

Ordering and payment:
Payments are accepted through PayPal only. PayPal has purchase protection polices in place to protect both buyers and sellers. For more details, visit the PayPal website and click on the link at the top of the page for "Security Center".
Ready-made items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of credit card payment. Paypal e-checks must clear prior to shipment. If we accept a custom collar order, you will be given an estimate of how long it will take to complete your order when you are sent the paypal invoice.
Timely custom sweater orders *may* be possible, however, the time it takes to hank-knit one sweater is a lot longer than a collar, so your patience is appreciated. Email us for a schedule of what is currently in production.

Shipping and Handling:
Cost of shipping of custom orders depends on the size of the order. You will be given an estimate when you are sent the paypal invoice. Pre-made collar and knitted item purchases are shipped via the most cost effective way via USPS with delivery confirmation. International orders are shipped First Class International and may take up to 2 weeks for delivery. Purchaser assumes responsibility for any VAT/ customs charges. We do not guarantee arrival dates and will not ship marked "gift" to avoid customs charges.

Personal information is strictly confidential and is only used for communications about your order and for shipping.

Each customer is responsible for determining the suitability of all Unfrogettable Designs ("Seller") products for their individual situation and assumes all responsibility and liability by purchasing these products. Seller's products are each handcrafted and therefore no two are alike. No collar or knitted item is guaranteed or warranteed against normal wear & tear and/or damage caused by hounds that scratch, chew, tug or pull. Loss of crystals/studs & buttons, snags and or pulls are considered to be part of normal wear & tear. Seller specifically disclaims any and all warranties with respect to any and all products made, sold or distributed by them, the safety or suitability of such products, or the results obtained, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and or any other warranty. As the purchaser, you assume ALL risk and responsibility, whatsoever, for any and all losses or damages to persons, pets or property including consequential damages arising from the use of any product or service purchased from Seller, whether or not occasioned by Seller's negligence or based on strict product liability or principles of indemnity or contribution. Seller does not assume or authorize any person or entity to assume any liability on behalf of Seller in connection with the use of any product or service.
